eSTAT Installation Guide

WIRE-LEAD: Use the 18AWG, 7 conductor, solid core, color coded wire-lead attached to the eSTAT and install them onto the thermostat loop of the air-conditioner. The 6 conductors in the wire-lead are attached to the terminal block on the back of the eSTAT. 2.) MOUNTING & WIRING: eSTAT mounts on the air conditioner unit where the thermostat control loop wiring is terminated on the AC low voltage control module. Attach part number eSTAT.RLY.PS inside the AC so that the primary wires can reach the main power terminal. Then attach the primary and secondary wires. Finally, connect the 6 conductors on the wire-lead of the eSTAT. NOTE: Always make a note (eLok recommends taking a photo) of the color of the wires on the thermostat lead connected to each of the AC terminals just to be safe.

eSENS Installation Guide

Click on the button to download the eSENS Installation Instructions. LOCATION & WIRING: The exact location to mount the eSENS unit should be chosen such that the temperature, humidity, lighting, and occupancy data being reported is from areas that are important for comfort, such as the bedroom at night and the kitchen at dinner time. The eSENS unit should be wall mounted directly above (approximately 6ft) an electrical outlet where the power supply can be plugged in. Sensors are provided with the system, so that critical home areas can be monitored. In the system configuration, be sure to label each eSENS unit’s location. There is an an option to configure the temperature limits to specific locations based on occupancy, so that the air conditioner run times can be automatically reduced when specific areas of the home are not occupied for long periods of time.
